BankVic has reinforced its commitment to the mental health and wellbeing of members of the police and emergency services, by signing a sponsorship agreement with the Emergency Services Foundation.
Recognising the increasing prevalence and high impact of mental health issues in the emergency services sector, this sponsorship will assist the Foundation in its work towards establishing a pilot program to explore the potential for a dedicated mental health facility for emergency service workers.
The Emergency Services Foundation is an alliance for Emergency Services Workers of Victoria and provides support to members of the Victoria Police, Ambulance Victoria, Country Fire Authority, Department of Environment Land Water and Planning, Emergency Management Victoria, Metropolitan Fire Brigade and Victoria State Emergency Service.
As the bank for Police, Health, Emergency and Public service sector employees, BankVic acknowledges the pressures our members experience daily. We are proud to stand up for mental health and to support our members in any way we can.
We look forward to a long standing partnership with the Emergency Services Foundation and continuing to serve those who serve the community.
