BankVic is proud to announce the signing of a new sponsorship agreement with Victoria Police Legacy (VPL).
For 38 years, VPL have supported serving and retired Victoria Police members and their families in their time of need – providing ongoing support and a range of services for those who have suffered the loss of a loved one.
The not-for-profit organisation founded by Victorian Police members to support their own, works tirelessly in the background to provide counselling and advocacy, financial assistance, personal visits and someone to talk to when it’s needed most.
As a members only bank where 100 per cent of profits are returned back to benefit members and their communities, partnering with VPL to support the wellbeing of Victoria’s finest is a natural fit.
“Like VPL, we were established by Victoria Police members to help fellow police officers secure loans and get a better deal from their bank. More than forty years later, we’re still the bank for police – so giving back through this partnership allows us to pay homage to who we are and where we’ve come from,” said BankVic Acting CEO Anthony De Fazio.
The new agreement recognises the longstanding relationship between BankVic and Police Legacy and formalises BankVic’s support for a cause that benefits the entire police community.
