As the Bank for Police, we’re proud to support this year’s Ride to the Wall charity bike ride. Now in its fourth year, the event raises much needed funds for Police Legacy and the range of support services they provide to serving and retired Victoria Police members and their families who have suffered the loss of a loved one.
From 20 September, more than 80 Victorian Police Cycling Club (VPCC) cyclists and support crew members will commemorate the lives of Victoria Police members taken in the line of duty by riding 400 kilometres over three days.
The ride begins in Wangaratta and will make its way through Nagambie and Healesville before concluding with an afternoon memorial service at 2pm at the Victoria Police Memorial Wall on St Kilda Rd on Sunday 23 September. Members of the public are welcome to attend and show their support.
BankVic is doing its bit by ensuring cyclists are well hydrated and loaded with energy snacks to help them along the way.
It’s a worthy cause that benefits the entire Victoria Police community, and one that BankVic is proud to be part of.
