TPAV Members only, who are also BankVic members.
How can I apply for a BankVic Qantas Visa credit card?
Online or at a branch.
How do I link my BankVic Qantas Visa credit card to my Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number?
When you apply for a BankVic Qantas Visa credit card, simply include your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership details on the Credit Card Application. You can let us know later by calling us on 13 63 73 however the sooner you provide the number the sooner you will see your points accruing.
Is this offer open to TPAV Family Members i.e. spouses/partners/siblings?
No. It's 100% exclusive to TPAV members, however you can nominate one additional cardholder to your Card Account.
What if I am not already a Qantas Frequent Flyer program member?
If you are not already a Qantas Frequent Flyer member, you can apply during the process of submitting your credit card application. The link is provided within the application. Alternatively you can apply online by calling Qantas on 13 11 31. You must advise that you wish to apply for the BankVic Complimentary Membership offer.
Is there a joining fee to become a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program?
No. BankVic has arranged for this fee to be complimentary with the new BankVic Qantas Visa Credit Card.
How are Points calculated?
You will receive 1 Qantas Frequent Flyer (QFF) point for every $2 spent and 2.0 Bonus QFF points for every $1 spent on Qantas Flights; and Qantas Club/QFF Membership (refer to BankVic Qantas Rewards Terms & Conditions for more detailed information).
What is the maximum amount of points I can earn each month?
Points are uncapped per month and also annually.
Which transactions will earn points on the Account?
Only eligible purchases made on the account will earn points. Eligible Purchases exclude:
Any refund or charge back transaction processed on a retail purchase will reverse the points earned for that transaction.
If the account is more than 30 days in arrears, you may be prevented from earning points on purchases or redeeming existing points. The points will also not accrue during this time.
When do points get updated or transferred?
Qantas Points earned in a statement cycle are transferred to the nominated Qantas Frequent Flyer account after the end of that statement cycle within 15 days.
How can I check my points balance?
The total points earned in each statement cycle will be displayed on your monthly credit card statement. You can enquire about the points on your current statement by calling BankVic on 13 63 73.
Qantas Frequent Flyer points balances can be checked at qantas.com/frequentflyer.
For enquiries about total points balances and bonus points, call Qantas on 13 11 31.

To redeem Qantas Points, visit qantas.com/frequentflyer or call 13 11 31 for further information.
I already have a BankVic credit card. Can I switch to the BankVic Qantas Visa Credit card?
If you are a TPAV member, yes you can, however the ongoing interest rates will apply. If you are currently not a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program, you will need to join. Membership is complimentary.
Can I apply for more than one BankVic Qantas Visa Credit Card?
Yes you can.
Complimentary Overseas Travel Insurance
How do I activate the Complimentary Overseas Travel Insurance?
You will need to book 100% of your trip on your BankVic Qantas Visa credit card prior to commencement of your trip. This includes travel by air, rail, road or watercraft. You also need to make a claim within 30 days of completing or cancelling your journey.
Who is covered by the Insurance?
The cover is available to the primary cardholder plus the card holder's spouse/partner and dependant children who are under 21 years of age and not working fulltime. They must be accompanying you on the trip and are covered for the portions where you all travel together.

Can you help me with a claim?
All claims should be referred to CGU, quoting the BankVic Master Policy Number 09D 0143103. Please call 1800 819 996. Claims can be lodged 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What if I have an emergency overseas?
Emergency help is available 24 hours a day. If you have any difficulties while travelling, call CGUâs Emergency Assistance Hotline and speak with one of their expertly trained, multilingual staff.
