Deposits

You can make a deposit in one of the following ways:

at any of our branches via a teller or one of our easy cheque boxes
through direct crediting of your salary
by mail (cheques only) to BankVic, GPO Box 2074, Melbourne VIC 3001
Westpac branches throughout Australia.

How to make a deposit at a Westpac branch without a deposit book

When you're at a Westpac branch, give the Westpac teller the following info:

BSB: 704230
your 9-digit account number: 100_ _ _ _ _ _
your account name.

When the transaction is completed, you'll receive a confirmation receipt.

There will be no fee for this service as BankVic has an arrangement with Westpac.

Unsure of your account details?

You can find your BSB and account number on your monthly statements or through online banking.

Useful information about deposit books

Deposit books don't have an expiry date.
You can continue using deposit books that have a Police Credit logo on it you don't need to order a new one.
If you need to order a new deposit book, you can do it through automated telephone banking or call 13 63 73 option 3.

An incoming overseas deposit allows you to receive foreign currency, converted into Australian dollars (AUD), into your BankVic account.
